The world from my view. Day 124 (May 4, 2011)

So today is going to be a “mental photo of the day” because nothing was as good today as a chat with my mom…. She told me that when she was here visiting and drinking wine (which factors in later)…. She slipped her fingers under her knees while listening to a story someone was telling, and felt a swollen area behind her knee. She, being the mother who probably had some influence on my own hypochondria, went through all the thoughts from heart conditions, water retention, needing a knee replacement, to a bite of some sort.
She then after about an hour of internal panic, went to restroom to look at it… Realizing quickly that she had put on a pair of “jeggings” from yesterday and it was her undies stuffed in the leg. Lol!!!
Seriously, this is where I get it….
This is hilarious — just the sort of reaction I’d have — I hope I have a chance to meet your mother one of these days.
Well…. you would LOVE her and she would you as well! We will plan on it! Might grab her and she and Allan and I will come visit! Cali style! xoxo
