Ok…. so I promise to not do this often… but I have to share another mental image with you….

So its Mother’s Day and we are celebrating later with a boat day…. so today she spent the day working in her garden….

She bought a hammock in Tulsa the other day and decided to put it together. She kept complaining to herself about not buying the better quality one…. good mothers always teach frugality… anyhoo… as she forced this thing together… knowing that the different color paints on the metal support bars were supposed to match…… she, two hours later, got the thing assembled!

She went inside and poured a huge diet dr. pepper with lots of ice….. came back out and sat down on her newly constructed hammock and the entire thing collapsed beneath her…. LOL……she laid there and laughed hysterically forever. I know it’s mean to laugh…but I’m laughing with her… and I have to watch it, because she is going to stop telling me these things…… they are priceless to me. As is she….

I love her so much… she doesn’t even know….. She is the reason I am as FABULOUS as I am! LOL

I would do anything for her and apparently I need to get her a new “already assembled” hammock…. that’s a good start!

So what did you all do to get through this storm (provided you were in it). We rested a lot…. a lot…. Why do I love naps so much as an adult, when I despised them as a child? And now, naps with the dog…. omg, they are the best!

Mea sent this picture and it “rocked” my world… I laughed for hours over this. Millie LOVES being naked…. really loves it…. and everyone loves it about her…. she is just herself without the restraints of fiber…. I have seen this child ride a Radio Flyer pony completely naked… except for her cowgirl boots and cowgirl hat and a FABULOUS cape (aqua blue, lined in… no other than, pink!) THAT is better than anything on television, I tell ya.

She’s a musical child too… and she would like you to know that like EVERYTHING else in he world…. music is best experienced…. naked.
