The world from my view. Day 219 (Aug 7, 2011)

Aug 07

So this was my Saturday afternoon…. I loved it!

decided to crash a friends pool… the only place to be outside in this heat

THANKFULLY… some much needed cloud cover popped up!

lots of clouds… and then…

it poured….. we needed rain so badly…. we danced in the pool….

then came the hail….. ouch!

The world from my view. Day 1 (Jan 1, 2011)

Jan 01

So here we are… New Year’s Day!! Happy New Year!

I’m so having fun, even just thinking about this “Photo of the Day” project. My feelings are torn because I have learned that this blogging thing isn’t quiet as easy as I had thought. I love doing it… and have THANKFULLY been kinda swamped lately… I think everyone has… haven’t you?

Which brings me to my first day…

Picked up wine I had ordered at a friends place today… they are my “special little friends” lying there in the back seat….and represented good times ahead!  I drove very slowly as not to shake up sediment and to avoid having the backseat scoured to remove red wine from the leather!

(She didn’t have boxes…)

Sooooo, the point of this daily thing (for me) is to stay more present. I struggle with that issue more than I would like… I love my life but sometimes get caught up in the movement of it and miss the still moments. NOT that this moment was still… I was driving and taking the photo at the same time… but if it makes you feel better… I used the camera on the front of the iphone4…. yet another fabulous feature of that phone/right appendage of mine. But, yeah, don’t do that.

To take pressure off myself with this… I may talk about the photo of the day or somedays I may not… depending on lots of factors…… but I hope you find something.. anything, from them…. if they stir up feelings of any sort, or not… or if you learn something or have something to teach me….. or if you think it’s ridiculous or amazing.

Seems like most people are excited about it, especially myself…. let me know what you think… see you on day 2. And thanks again Jillian… great idea!
